Invitation to professional seminar on safer working places

You are invited to a professional seminar and the relaunch of the Standard for Safe Working Places in an updated version on 7 April from 14:00–16:00 at IFPI.

It is now exactly one year since we launched the Standard for Safe Working Places. In this context, we would like to share our experiences from the work of preventing and handling inappropriate conduct in the music industry – and hopefully engage even more people in this effort.

Therefore, on 7 April we are hosting a relaunch of the standard combined with a professional seminar, where we will dive into how we can strengthen our efforts to create safe working places in the music industry.

The event is open to everyone but is particularly aimed at: bookers, music companies, managers, music publishers, artists and their crews, songwriters, producers, and other collaborators.

Vibeke Lunding Gregersen from Mindwork ApS and Louise Dinesen from Dinesen & You will facilitate the seminar. Vibeke and Louise will offer perspectives on how we, as a sector and across different industry actors, can build a healthy and safe working culture characterised by inclusion and respect — also across status and power hierarchies. The seminar will focus on practical handling, concrete prevention, and common pitfalls in the work of preventing inappropriate behaviour and fostering a safe culture.

Vibeke Lunding Gregersen and Louise Dinesen are both organisational psychologists and certified occupational health advisers. They specialise in high risk work environments, including organisations marked by power structures and risk factors, and have many years of experience working with the performing arts and the music industry.

After the programme, we will serve snacks and refreshments.
