How do we achieve a greener music scene where all actors in the music industry engage in the green transition?
#1 We use data as a tool for change
We want to develop the knowledge and tools needed to push forward the green transition in the music industry. In 2024, we therefore took the first step in mapping the total CO2 emissions of the Danish music industry. Together with our knowledge partner, The Footprint Firm, we developed a methodology that maps data, and the methods enabling us to calculate the total CO2 emissions from the Danish music industry.

#2 We provide support to actors in reducing the environmental and climate impact of their activities
In 2024 and together with Danish Live and the Association for Greener Music, we developed a mapping of the green transition at concert venues and festivals in Denmark. The mapping depicts desires and needs regarding the green transition on the Danish live scene and informs our further efforts to support live actors in their transition.
