The association Grønnere Musik (translating to Greener Music) and the Partnership for Sustainable Development in Music have agreed to join forces under the auspices of the partnership. The collaboration is intended to upscale the efforts to achieve a green transition across the Danish music scene and to concentrate the work of creating sustainable development in music in one place.
To date, Grønnere Musik has acted as an independent association, and will continue in this organisational format, but with support from the secretariat and partners of the Partnership for Sustainable Development in Music, with which it will work closely.
Grønnere Musik is working for a green transition in the Danish music industry, collecting and disseminating knowledge and concrete tools to help the music scene reduce its resource consumption and climate footprint. Such tools can include anything from a green sustainability rider, waste management, transport and CO2 calculations to greener procurement.
