Join us as we travel to the year 2050 – to a time when we have succeeded in solving some of the challenges we face today.
From here, we look back at the music industry per 2026 and explore: What challenges shaped the music sector? Which habits, structures and decisions held back progress? And what became possible when we began to imagine new ways of acting, collaborating and taking responsibility?
These are the questions we will work with at this year’s Industry Day, where we will focus on what calls for shared prioritisation, which structural measures can make a difference, and what roles each of us can take in driving change.
During the day, there will be inspirational keynotes, cases, active participation and plenty of time for co-creation, networking and a shared lunch.

When: 7 September 2026, 10:30–16:30. The professional programme begins at 11:00.

- Doors open at 10:30 for coffee and networking
- Welcome speech, news from the partnership and the purpose of the day
- Inspirational case: An outside-in perspective on art, culture and major societal change
- Break, including lunch
- Inspirational talk on systems change, future thinking and how the music sector can work with change at a structural level w/ Majken Overgaard
- Workshops on new structures and behaviours, and on roles in the change process
- Plenary wrap-up, next steps and closing remarks over a glass of bubbles
- The official programme ends at 16:00, followed by the opportunity for informal networking until 16:30.
