Research results and recommendations to the music industry presented at SPOT+

In collaboration with senior researcher Dr. Sally Anne Gross , the partnership presents results and recommendations from the research report ‘When Music Speaks’ about mental health and wellbeing in the Danish music industry Friday, May 3rd at 10:00 AM at SPOT+.

Under the theme ‘Let’s Talk Mental Health, Representation & Sustainability’, the Partnership for Sustainable Development in Music and senior researcher Dr. Sally Anne Gross from the University of Westminster in London, will present key insights from the report ‘When Music Speaks – Mental Health and Next Steps in the Danish Music Industry’. Dr. Gross will also present a series of recommendations for the Danish music industry based on insights on the needs and wants of Danish musicians from the report.

The keynote will be followed by a panel conversation on how we as an industry can implement positive changes that strengthen the well-being of musicians in Denmark.

The panel conversation will include:

  • Anna Lidell, front person in Autor
  • Sara Indrio, front person in the Danish Artist Association
  • Karen Vincent, CEO in Warner Music Denmark
  • Katrine Ravn, Artist manager in The Bank Music

The panel conversation will be moderated by Maja Hald, journalist, and radio host at Radio4.
