Rikke Johan Bak, Director of Communications and Public Affairs at IFPI Denmark, joins the partnership’s steering committee, which is expanded from three to four members. At the same time, the Music Producers’ Management Organisation (MPO) is joining the Partnership.
As part of the Partnership’s 2025–2030 strategy, the steering committee is expanded with an additional member to help strengthen the anchoring of the partnership’s goals within the commercial side of the music industry.
Rikke Johan Bak, Director of Communications and Public Affairs at IFPI Denmark, will therefore join the steering committee alongside Gorm Arildsen, CEO of Koda; Sara Indrio, Chair of the Danish Artists’ Union; and Henrik Sveidahl, Principal of the Rhythmic Music Conservatory.
The partnership’s steering committee is expected to grow further during 2026, with strengthened representation from the live music sector.
The Partnership now brings together more than 100 organisations, companies, and institutions from across the music ecosystem. The partnership works to develop and scale shared solutions to cross sector challenges in the music industry — including green transition, equal access, and mental health and well being.
Growing the secretariat
MPO’s entry as a partner also strengthens the partnership’s secretariat, which is being expanded with an additional staff member. The position has just been posted and will help ensure increased momentum in the partnership’s initiatives.
– “MPO is joining the partnership because we believe that collaboration is essential to creating real change. Strengthening the secretariat is an investment in our shared work and in our ability to translate ambitions into concrete results for the entire music industry,” says Henrik Daldorph, Chair of MPO’s Board.
