NEWS
As part of the programme Together for Equal Acess, we are establishing an advisory board to contribute with insights, experience and feedback to help shape activities, tools and certification scheme.
The advisory board will play an important role in guiding the programme’s direction and ensuring that its solutions reflect the realities of the music sector.
Are you an artist, a leader or an employee working witin a company or organisation in the Danish music industry? Would you like to help shape its future?
We’re recruiting advisory board members for the three-year programme Togehter for Equal Access.
We are looking for people from across the music sector who would like to help develop a new industry certification, tools and skills to promote equal access, representation and safe working environments.
As an advisory board member, you will join a group of artists and industry professionals with a wide range of professional backgrounds. You will contribute experience and constructive perspectives to help shape the programme and ensure that its solutions work in practice.
We value a variety of skills and perspectives. You do not need to be an expert in equal access or diversity. What matters most is your experience in the music sector, your willingness to contribute constructively and your interest in creating large-scale change.
What is expected of advisory board members?
The advisory board will meet two to four times a year throughout the three-year programme. There may also be opportunities to provide feedback on specific development activities between meetings.
The board’s role is advisory. Members will contribute perspectives and professional insights to strengthen the programme’s relevance, quality and impact across the music sector.
How to apply?
To apply for a place on the advisory board, please send a short application to sekretariat@musiklivetspartnerskab.dk by 26 November 2026.
You can apply in writing (up to one page) or by video (up to four minutes). Your application should answer the following questions:
- Why would you like to join the advisory board?
- What experience or perspectives would you bring?
- Which challenges or opportunities do you think Together for Equal Access should focus on in particular?
Selection
We will bring together an advisory board with a broad mix of roles, experience, expertise, geographical backgrounds, sectors and perspectives. We expect to appoint 12–18 members who collectively reflect the diversity of Denmark’s music sector.
All applications will be reviewed, and shortlisted applicants will be invited to a short interview.
Up to half of the board’s members will be selected through this open call. The remaining members will be invited directly, as they are estimated to play a crucial role in the programme’s success.
Selected candidates will be notified by 4 December 2026, and the first meeting is expected to take place in January 2027.
If you have any questions about the advisory board or the programme, please contact Amanda Viuf Hammerich at sekretariat@musiklivetspartnerskab.dk or on +45 61 89 01 49.
We encourage anyone interested in contributing to a more equitable and sustainable music sector to apply, regardless of background, career path or experience.
